Are you ready for an exciting opportunity in Detroit, Michigan? We are hiring Distribution Center Associates to join our dedicated team. In this role, you will be involved in various aspects of our distribution operations, including receiving, storing, picking, packing, and shipping of goods. Your contribution will be vital to ensuring the efficient and accurate flow of products through our logistics network. Responsibilities:
- Receive and verify incoming inventory against purchase orders.
- Organize and stock inventory in appropriate warehouse locations.
- Accurately pick items for customer orders using RF scanners or pick lists.
- Pack orders with care and precision, ensuring product integrity.
- Prepare shipments for dispatch, including labeling and staging.
- Operate material handling equipment safely (e.g., pallet jacks, forklifts if certified).
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment at all times.
- Participate in inventory control activities, such as cycle counting.
- Follow all company policies and Safety regulations.
- Support the overall efficiency of our Logistics department.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Previous experience in a distribution center or warehouse setting is advantageous.
- Ability to perform physically demanding tasks, including standing, walking, bending, and Lifting up to 50 pounds.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to accuracy.
- Familiarity with warehouse management systems (WMS) is a plus.
- Willingness to wear necessary PPE , including safety vests and footwear.
- Reliable and punctual with a strong work ethic.
- Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented, fast-paced environment.
- Adherence to all Safety procedures is mandatory.
