In this essential role, you will be responsible for moving, organizing, and managing materials throughout the warehouse. Your duties will include operating forklifts and other material handling equipment, loading and unloading trucks, and ensuring materials are stored safely and efficiently. This position demands physical stamina, attention to detail, and a strong commitment to safety. The ideal candidate will be proficient in operating various warehouse machinery and have a solid understanding of logistics and material flow. Responsibilities:
- Operate forklifts, pallet jacks, and other material handling equipment safely and efficiently.
- Load and unload incoming and outgoing shipments.
- Transport materials to and from designated storage areas.
- Organize and maintain inventory in a safe and accessible manner.
- Conduct daily inspections of material handling equipment.
- Follow all safety protocols and procedures, including those related to lifting and handling heavy objects.
- Assist with inventory counts and stock checks.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area to ensure optimal safety and efficiency in logistics.
- Report any equipment malfunctions or safety hazards immediately.
