Join our dynamic team as a Fulfillment Associate in Washington, D.C. This position plays a vital role in our logistics network, ensuring customer orders are processed with accuracy and speed. You will be responsible for picking items from shelves, packing them securely, and preparing them for shipment. Maintaining an organized and clean workspace, adhering to all Safety guidelines, and contributing to team goals are key aspects of this role. We are looking for enthusiastic individuals with a strong attention to detail and a proactive approach to problem-solving. Prior experience in fulfillment or warehouse operations is advantageous. This is an excellent opportunity to be part of a fast-paced and essential service within the logistics sector.
Responsibilities:
- Accurately pick customer orders from designated locations.
- Pack items carefully and efficiently to prevent damage during transit.
- Verify order details against items picked and packed.
- Operate basic warehouse equipment safely.
- Maintain the cleanliness and orderliness of the fulfillment area.
- Follow all established Safety protocols, including the mandatory use of appropriate PPE.
- Assist with inventory management tasks as directed.
- Collaborate with colleagues to meet daily fulfillment targets.
- Participate in training sessions to enhance skills and knowledge.
- Report any operational issues or Safety concerns to supervisors immediately.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Physical capability to stand for extended periods, walk, bend, and perform manual tasks.
- Ability to handle moderate Lifting, up to 40 lbs regularly.
- Strong organizational skills and meticulous attention to detail.
- Good communication and interpersonal abilities.
- Dependability and a strong work ethic.
- Willingness to adapt to changing priorities and work schedules.
- Understanding of warehouse Safety principles.
