Seeking a diligent Material Handler for our bustling logistics facility in Omaha, Nebraska. As a Material Handler, you will play a vital role in the movement and organization of goods throughout the warehouse. Your responsibilities will include receiving incoming shipments, stocking materials, and preparing items for outgoing distribution. This role demands physical stamina, as it involves frequent lifting of heavy items (up to 75 lbs), bending, squatting, and standing for prolonged periods. A strong understanding of warehouse operations and a commitment to safety are essential. You will operate various warehouse equipment, including pallet jacks and forklifts (if certified), to facilitate the efficient flow of materials. Maintaining a clean and organized workspace is critical to our operations and requires your full attention. We are looking for individuals who are dependable, proactive, and possess excellent teamwork skills. Experience in a warehouse or logistics environment is preferred, but not required. Comprehensive training on our processes and safety protocols, including the mandatory use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE), will be provided. Responsibilities:
- Receive, unload, and inspect incoming materials.
- Stock shelves and storage areas with incoming inventory.
- Transport materials throughout the warehouse using pallet jacks, forklifts, or other equipment.
- Pick, pack, and stage orders for shipment.
- Maintain accurate inventory records.
- Operate warehouse equipment safely and efficiently.
- Adhere strictly to all safety protocols and wear required PPE.
- Ensure the warehouse remains clean and organized.
- Collaborate with team members to achieve operational goals.
