We are hiring a dedicated Picker/Packer to join our team in Salt Lake City, Utah. This critical role involves accurately selecting products from inventory and preparing them for shipment. You will be instrumental in ensuring that our customers receive their orders complete and in perfect condition. This position requires a sharp eye for detail, efficiency, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced warehouse environment. Utilizing scanning technology and order pick lists will be part of your daily routine. Significant physical activity, including regular Lifting of products, is involved. We place a strong emphasis on workplace Safety , and all team members must adhere to protocols and wear the provided PPE . This role is a key component of our logistics operations, directly impacting customer satisfaction and operational flow. Responsibilities:
- Accurately pick items based on order documents and scanner prompts.
- Verify product details to ensure order accuracy.
- Pack items securely for transit, using appropriate packaging materials.
- Label packages correctly for shipping.
- Maintain an organized and clean work area.
- Follow all Safety guidelines and wear required PPE .
- Perform tasks involving Lifting and moving items up to 40 lbs.
- Meet daily picking and packing productivity targets.
- Collaborate with fellow team members to ensure smooth operations.
- Support the overall efficiency of the Logistics process.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Previous experience in a warehouse or picking/packing role is advantageous.
- Ability to read and interpret order forms and product codes.
- Good manual dexterity and attention to detail.
- Physical ability to stand, walk, bend, and perform regular Lifting .
- Understanding of warehouse Safety practices.
- Familiarity with Logistics terminology is a plus.
