Join our dynamic team in Boise, Idaho, as a Material Handler! We are seeking a dependable and physically capable individual to support our warehouse operations. Your primary responsibilities will include moving, organizing, and preparing materials for shipment. This involves operating essential warehouse equipment, loading and unloading delivery vehicles, and ensuring materials are stored correctly. A strong focus on Safety is critical, and you will be expected to follow all established guidelines and utilize the provided PPE . This role demands consistent physical effort, including regular Lifting of items up to 60 lbs, and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment. Responsibilities:
- Operate forklifts, pallet jacks, and other material handling equipment safely.
- Load and unload goods from trucks and containers.
- Transport materials to and from designated storage areas.
- Stack and organize inventory according to established procedures.
- Conduct routine checks on equipment and report any issues.
- Adhere strictly to all Safety protocols and wear required PPE .
- Perform frequent and substantial Lifting of items.
- Maintain a clean and organized workspace.
- Assist with inventory counts and record-keeping.
- Contribute to the overall efficiency of our Logistics department.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Previous experience as a Material Handler or in a warehouse setting.
- Ability to operate material handling equipment (certification is a plus).
- Physical ability to stand, walk, bend, and perform heavy Lifting .
- Understanding of warehouse Safety practices.
- Familiarity with basic Logistics principles is advantageous.
