We are looking for a skilled Warehouse Technician to join our team in Kansas City, Missouri. In this role, you will play a crucial part in maintaining the operational efficiency and integrity of our warehouse facility. Your responsibilities will include operating and maintaining various warehouse equipment, performing routine inspections, troubleshooting minor mechanical issues, and assisting with the upkeep of our automated systems. A strong understanding of warehouse Logistics and a commitment to upholding rigorous Safety standards are paramount. We provide comprehensive training and ensure that all team members are equipped with the necessary PPE for their tasks. The ideal candidate will have a technical aptitude, problem-solving skills, and the ability to work independently or as part of a team. This position requires physical activity, including potential Lifting and maneuvering of equipment components. Responsibilities:
- Perform routine maintenance and inspections on warehouse equipment (e.g., forklifts, conveyor systems, pallet jacks).
- Diagnose and resolve minor technical issues with machinery and systems.
- Assist with the installation and setup of new equipment.
- Ensure all equipment is operated safely and in compliance with regulations.
- Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities and equipment status.
- Adhere to all company Safety protocols and procedures.
- Collaborate with other departments to ensure seamless warehouse operations.
- Assist with general warehouse duties as needed, including some inventory management.
Qualifications:
- Proven experience as a technician or in a similar maintenance role within a warehouse or industrial setting.
- Strong mechanical and troubleshooting skills.
- Ability to read technical manuals and schematics.
- Proficiency in operating various warehouse equipment.
- Capability of Lifting and manipulating parts up to 50 lbs.
- Knowledge of Logistics operations and warehouse workflow.
- Commitment to adhering to strict Safety guidelines and using required PPE .
- Excellent problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.
