Your primary responsibility will be to operate a reach truck safely and efficiently to transport, stack, and retrieve inventory. This role is critical to maintaining the organization and accessibility of our stock, ensuring smooth operations for order fulfillment and inventory management. The ideal candidate possesses a strong understanding of warehouse safety procedures, including the mandatory use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE). You must be adept at navigating narrow aisles and working at various heights, demonstrating excellent control and precision. This position involves significant operating time on the reach truck, as well as occasional manual lifting and movement of goods. Responsibilities:
- Safely operate a reach truck to move, stack, and retrieve palletized goods.
- Load and unload trucks efficiently and accurately.
- Maintain the organization and cleanliness of warehouse aisles and storage areas.
- Perform pre-operation checks on the reach truck and report any maintenance issues.
- Accurately track inventory movements using the WMS.
- Adhere strictly to all safety protocols and the use of required PPE.
- Assist with other warehouse duties as needed, including some lifting and order picking.
- Contribute to a safe and efficient logistics operation.
