Are you an experienced Forklift Operator looking for a new opportunity in Richmond, Virginia? We are seeking a reliable and safety-minded individual to operate forklifts in our bustling warehouse. You will be responsible for moving materials, loading and unloading trucks, and assisting with inventory management. This role is essential to the smooth operation of our Logistics department, ensuring materials are moved efficiently and safely. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of forklift operation and a commitment to maintaining a safe work environment. We value employees who are proactive, detail-oriented, and dedicated to teamwork and Safety. Key Responsibilities:
- Safely operate forklifts to move, stack, and transport materials within the warehouse.
- Load and unload delivery trucks, ensuring all goods are handled with care.
- Perform daily inspections of forklifts to ensure proper functioning and report any issues.
- Assist in maintaining accurate inventory levels through proper placement and tracking of goods.
- Adhere to all company Safety policies and procedures, including mandatory use of PPE.
- Organize and stage materials for shipment or further processing.
- Maintain a clean and orderly work area.
- Support other warehouse operations and team members as needed.
- Minimum of 1 year of experience as a certified Forklift Operator.
- Valid forklift certification or license.
- Ability to perform Lifting of up to 50 lbs regularly.
- Knowledge of warehouse safety standards and procedures.
- Understanding of basic Logistics and warehouse flow.
- Strong work ethic and reliability.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Commitment to Safety and accident prevention.
