We are seeking an experienced and organized Warehouse Coordinator for our facility in Austin, Texas. This key role oversees the daily operations of the warehouse, ensuring efficiency, accuracy, and adherence to Safety standards. The Warehouse Coordinator will manage inventory, coordinate shipping and receiving activities, supervise warehouse staff, and maintain optimal warehouse flow. This position requires strong leadership skills, a comprehensive understanding of warehouse management systems (WMS), and a deep knowledge of Logistics . You will be responsible for optimizing space, managing resources, and ensuring a safe working environment for all. Mandatory use of PPE is enforced. While this role involves supervision, there will be occasions requiring hands-on involvement, potentially including Lifting of items up to 30 pounds.
Responsibilities:
- Oversee and manage all day-to-day warehouse operations.
- Supervise, train, and schedule warehouse personnel.
- Manage inventory levels, conduct cycle counts, and ensure inventory accuracy.
- Coordinate incoming shipments and outgoing orders, ensuring timely dispatch.
- Implement and enforce all warehouse Safety policies and procedures.
- Ensure the correct use and maintenance of all required PPE .
- Operate and maintain warehouse equipment, ensuring it is in good working order.
- Optimize warehouse layout and space utilization.
- Liaise with other departments and external partners to ensure smooth Logistics flow.
- Maintain records and generate reports on warehouse activities, inventory, and productivity.
- Address and resolve operational issues and challenges promptly.
- Perform or assist with tasks requiring physical effort, including occasional Lifting .
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent; Bachelor's degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, or a related field is a plus.
- Proven experience in a warehouse supervisory or coordination role.
- Proficiency with Warehouse Management Systems (WMS) and inventory control software.
- Strong understanding of Logistics , supply chain, and warehouse operations.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and organizational skills.
- Demonstrated commitment to workplace Safety .
- Ability to work under pressure and make quick decisions.
- Comfortable working in a warehouse environment and utilizing PPE .
- Capability for occasional Lifting and moving of materials.
- Problem-solving and analytical skills.
