Join our dedicated warehouse team in Kansas City, Missouri as a Warehouse Worker! We need reliable and hardworking individuals to support our day-to-day operations. This role is hands-on and involves a variety of tasks essential to the efficient functioning of our warehouse. You will be responsible for receiving, storing, picking, packing, and shipping goods. This position requires physical stamina, attention to detail, and a strong commitment to workplace safety. The ideal candidate is a team player who understands the importance of accuracy and efficiency in logistics. You will be working with a variety of products and equipment, so a willingness to learn and adapt is key.
Key Responsibilities:
- Receive, unload, and inspect incoming shipments for accuracy and damage.
- Sort and store inventory in designated locations within the warehouse.
- Accurately pick orders based on pick lists or electronic devices.
- Pack orders securely for shipment, ensuring product protection.
- Load and unload trucks and containers.
- Operate pallet jacks, hand trucks, and other warehouse equipment.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.
- Conduct inventory counts as required.
- Assist with other warehouse duties as assigned to support the overall logistics flow.
- Follow all safety guidelines, including the correct use of PPE.
- Previous warehouse experience is preferred but not required; we are willing to train motivated individuals.
- Ability to perform physical tasks, including standing, walking, bending, and lifting up to 50 lbs regularly.
- Basic understanding of warehouse operations and logistics principles.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
- Commitment to adhering to all safety protocols and the correct use of PPE.
- Reliability and punctuality are essential.
- Ability to work in varying warehouse conditions.
- Willingness to learn and operate different types of warehouse equipment.
