We are seeking an experienced Forklift Operator to join our busy warehouse in Chicago, Illinois. In this vital role, you will operate forklifts and other powered industrial trucks to move materials around the warehouse, load and unload trucks, and assist with inventory management. Your primary focus will be on safely and efficiently transporting goods to and from storage areas, production lines, and shipping docks. The ideal candidate is a certified forklift operator with a proven track record of safe operation and excellent spatial awareness. A strong understanding of warehouse procedures and logistics is essential. You will be required to wear all necessary PPE and strictly adhere to all safety regulations to ensure a secure working environment. This role involves significant Lifting (when assisting with loading/unloading or moving items not on pallets) and requires the ability to maneuver heavy loads with precision.
