We are seeking a dynamic Shipping & Receiving Associate in the heart of San Jose, California. This vital role ensures the smooth flow of goods both into and out of our facility, playing a key part in our overall logistics and supply chain management.
Responsibilities:
- Receiving incoming shipments, verifying contents, and preparing for stocking.
- Processing outgoing shipments, including labeling and documentation.
- Coordinating with carriers for pickups and deliveries.
- Maintaining accurate inventory records and assisting with cycle counts.
- Ensuring the warehouse is organized, clean, and safe.
- Adhering strictly to all Safety regulations and protocols.
- Properly using all mandated Personal Protective Equipment (PPE).
- Operating equipment such as forklifts and pallet jacks responsibly.
Qualifications:
- Previous experience in shipping, receiving, or a related warehouse role is required.
- Ability to perform physical tasks, including moderate to heavy Lifting.
- Proficiency in using warehouse management systems (WMS) and shipping software.
- Strong understanding of logistics and supply chain operations.
- Excellent organizational skills and meticulous attention to detail.
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
- Commitment to upholding high Safety standards.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills.
