In this essential role, you will be responsible for accurately and efficiently retrieving items from warehouse shelves to fulfill customer orders. Your primary goal is to ensure that the correct products are picked, scanned, and prepared for shipment, contributing directly to customer satisfaction. You will utilize handheld scanning devices and follow pick lists to locate items, paying close attention to product codes and quantities. A strong work ethic, attention to detail, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment are key. This position is crucial to our logistics operations, ensuring the timely and accurate processing of orders. We foster a team-oriented atmosphere and prioritize safety above all else. Key Responsibilities:
- Accurately pick items from warehouse locations based on order slips and scanner prompts.
- Verify product codes and quantities for each item picked.
- Pack items securely for shipment as needed.
- Operate pallet jacks and other material handling equipment safely.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area.
- Adhere to all company safety policies and procedures, including proper use of PPE.
- Must be able to perform frequent lifting up to 45 lbs.
