We are seeking a motivated Order Picker to join our dedicated team in Dallas, Texas. In this role, you will be responsible for accurately retrieving items from warehouse shelves to fulfill customer orders. Efficiency, accuracy, and a strong commitment to Safety are key to your success. You will play a vital part in our logistics chain, ensuring that orders are picked correctly and promptly. This position requires you to be on your feet for extended periods, navigate the warehouse effectively, and perform regular Lifting of items. We provide all the necessary PPE to ensure your safety and comfort. A basic understanding of warehouse operations and logistics is advantageous. Responsibilities:
- Accurately pick items from warehouse locations using pick lists or electronic devices.
- Verify that picked items match order requirements in terms of product, quantity, and condition.
- Report any discrepancies or damages to a supervisor immediately.
- Transport picked items to the packing or staging area.
- Assist with stocking and replenishment of inventory as needed.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area, free of hazards.
- Operate pallet jacks and other material handling equipment safely.
- Adhere to all company Safety policies and procedures, including proper use of PPE.
- Participate in inventory counts and other warehouse tasks as assigned.
- Contribute to a positive and productive team atmosphere.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Previous experience as an Order Picker or in a similar warehouse role is preferred.
- Ability to perform frequent Lifting of items up to 40 lbs.
- Proficiency in using scanning equipment and order management systems.
- Strong attention to detail and a commitment to accuracy.
- Knowledge of warehouse Safety regulations and best practices.
- Ability to stand, walk, and move throughout the warehouse for extended periods.
- Good organizational skills and ability to work efficiently.
- Reliable and punctual attendance.
