Join our expanding team as a Distribution Center Associate in Atlanta, Georgia! This dynamic role is key to the seamless flow of goods within our state-of-the-art facility. We are looking for dedicated individuals to assist in various operational tasks, including receiving, storing, picking, packing, and shipping orders. Success in this position relies on efficiency, accuracy, and a strong commitment to Safety. You will be working in a fast-paced environment, handling a variety of products. The role requires physical agility and the ability to perform consistent Lifting of materials. We equip our associates with all necessary PPE to ensure a safe working experience. Understanding the intricacies of logistics and supply chain operations is beneficial. Our organization places the highest priority on Safety, and we expect every team member to actively contribute to a secure workplace.
Responsibilities:
- Receive, inspect, and record incoming shipments.
- Accurately put away merchandise into designated storage locations.
- Select items from inventory for customer orders using pick lists or scanners.
- Pack orders with care and attention to detail, ensuring product integrity.
- Prepare outgoing shipments, including labeling and staging for carrier pickup.
- Operate various warehouse equipment such as forklifts and pallet jacks safely.
- Conduct regular cycle counts and assist with inventory management tasks.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and hazard-free work environment.
- Strictly adhere to all Safety regulations and utilize required PPE.
- Collaborate effectively with team members to meet productivity goals.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Previous experience in a distribution center or warehouse environment is highly desirable.
- Demonstrated ability to perform regular Lifting of items up to 50 lbs.
- Familiarity with warehouse management systems (WMS) is a plus.
- Strong knowledge of Safety protocols and procedures.
- Ability to work efficiently in a physically demanding role.
- Good communication skills and a team-oriented attitude.
- Must be able to work flexible hours and overtime as needed.
