Your role will involve precisely picking items from warehouse locations using order sheets and scanning technology, and then carefully packing them for safe transit. You'll work within a dynamic warehouse environment, contributing to the seamless flow of our supply chain. This position is crucial for our daily operations, and your efficiency directly impacts our ability to serve our clients. We are committed to maintaining a safe workplace, and all team members are required to adhere to strict safety protocols, including the mandatory use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE). Regular lifting is a requirement of this role, and candidates must be comfortable with physically demanding tasks. Responsibilities:
- Accurately pick products from designated inventory locations.
- Verify product accuracy against order requirements.
- Inspect picked items for any damage or defects.
- Package items securely using appropriate materials to prevent shipping damage.
- Apply shipping labels and necessary documentation to packages.
- Maintain a clean and organized work station and contribute to overall warehouse orderliness.
- Assist with inventory counts and stock management as directed.
- Follow all company safety rules and regulations diligently.
- Wear and utilize all required Personal Protective Equipment (PPE).
- Perform frequent lifting of items, with weights potentially up to 50 lbs.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or GED required.
- Prior experience in a warehouse, picking, or packing role is a plus.
- Ability to read and understand order forms and product labels.
- Excellent attention to detail and high level of accuracy.
- Physical capability to stand, walk, bend, and perform frequent lifting throughout the shift.
- Understanding of basic warehouse logistics and safety procedures.
- Reliable and punctual with a strong work ethic.
- Willingness to adhere to all safety standards and wear PPE.
