Join our dedicated team as a Warehouse Associate in Washington, D.C. We are looking for enthusiastic individuals to contribute to our efficient warehouse operations. In this role, you will perform a variety of tasks including receiving and inspecting goods, picking and packing orders, stocking shelves, and preparing shipments. Your attention to detail and commitment to accuracy will be vital in ensuring that our customers receive their orders correctly and on time. You will be an integral part of our logistics chain, handling products with care and ensuring the smooth flow of inventory. We pride ourselves on maintaining a safe and organized work environment. Adherence to all safety regulations, including the correct use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE), is mandatory for all associates. This position requires the ability to perform frequent lifting and requires a good understanding of safe material handling practices. Responsibilities:
- Receive, unload, and inspect incoming inventory.
- Accurately pick and pack customer orders.
- Stock shelves and organize inventory within the warehouse.
- Prepare orders for shipment, including labeling and staging.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.
- Assist with inventory control and cycle counts.
- Operate manual pallet jacks and other warehouse equipment.
- Adhere to all company policies and safety guidelines.
- Utilize required PPE at all times.
- Perform regular lifting of items up to 50 lbs.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Previous warehouse experience preferred but not required.
- Ability to work efficiently and accurately.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Physical ability to stand, walk, bend, stoop, and perform frequent lifting.
- Familiarity with warehouse safety procedures and the importance of PPE.
- Basic understanding of logistics processes.
- Team player with a positive attitude.
