We are hiring motivated Order Pickers to join our distribution team in Omaha, Nebraska. This role is fundamental to our operational efficiency, involving the accurate retrieval of products to fulfill customer orders. Success in this position requires keen attention to detail, speed, and a dedication to maintaining a safe work environment. You will be a key contributor to our Logistics chain, ensuring orders are processed correctly and on time.
Responsibilities:
- Receive and interpret picking lists or use handheld scanners to locate items.
- Accurately pick specified quantities of products from warehouse locations.
- Verify picked items for accuracy against order requirements.
- Transport picked items to packing or staging areas.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area to ensure efficiency and Safety .
- Operate pallet jacks and other material handling equipment as needed.
- Report any discrepancies or damaged goods to supervisors.
- Adhere to all company Safety protocols and mandatory PPE requirements.
- Participate in inventory cycle counts and stocktaking.
- Contribute positively to team performance and operational goals.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent is preferred.
- Previous experience as an order picker or in a warehouse setting is beneficial.
- Ability to stand and walk for long periods.
- Capability of Lifting up to 50 lbs.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy in order fulfillment.
- Good communication skills and ability to work effectively in a team.
- Basic understanding of warehouse Logistics .
- A proactive approach to Safety and following procedures.
- Must be reliable and committed to assigned shifts.
