Seeking enthusiastic Distribution Center Associates for our facility in Grand Rapids, Michigan. This role is fundamental to our supply chain, ensuring that products move smoothly from receiving to shipping. You will be responsible for various tasks including receiving, put-away, picking, packing, and preparing orders for dispatch. Responsibilities:
- Receive and verify incoming inventory against purchase orders.
- Stock merchandise onto warehouse shelves using appropriate equipment.
- Pick items accurately based on customer orders or production needs.
- Pack products safely and efficiently for shipment.
- Prepare orders for dispatch and assist with loading trucks.
- Maintain the cleanliness and organization of the warehouse.
- Operate forklifts, pallet jacks, and other warehouse machinery safely.
- Adhere to all company Safety guidelines and utilize necessary PPE .
- Participate in inventory counts and assist with discrepancy resolution.
- Collaborate with team members to meet operational targets.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- Previous warehouse or distribution center experience is highly desirable.
- Physical ability to perform tasks including standing, walking, and Lifting up to 50 lbs.
- Strong attention to detail and a commitment to accuracy.
- Ability to work effectively in a team and independently.
- Familiarity with warehouse management systems (WMS) is a plus.
- Knowledge of Logistics and inventory best practices is advantageous.
- Must be reliable and possess a strong work ethic.
