We're growing fast and looking for individuals who want a career and a position with longterm growth opportunities. We are looking to expand our team of dynamic individuals and are seeking Journeyman/Journey Woman as well as 3rd and 4th year apprentices for Service and New Construction.
Journeyman Rate $38/hour
4th Year Rate $34/hour
3rd Year Rate $29/hour
Must hold a valid Electrical License or Apprenticeship in the Province Of New Brunswick, or equivalent from other Canadian Province.
Responsibilities:
* Reads, interprets, and executes drawings, schematics, blueprints, and electrical code specifications to perform layout of commercial and residential electrical equipment installations.
* Tests electrical equipment and parts for continuity, current, voltage, and resistance.
* Installs repairs, or replaces electrical wiring, devices, conduits, feeders, lighting, and alternative electrical parts.
* Installs, repairs, or replaces generators.
* Performs maintenance and testing of electrical systems (including power distribution equipment).
* Installs electrical circuits, as well as panels, conduit, protective devices, switches, and equipment in compliance with the Canadian Electrical Code.
* Trouble shoots electrical problems to find and repair incorrect or unsafe wiring and equipment.
* Abides by industry standards and company policy while working to contribute to a safe work environment.
Requirements:
* Proven work experience as a Journeyman, 4th or 3rd year apprentice
* Willingness to follow safety guidelines
* Steel toed safety boots (CSA approved)
* Current/valid driver’s licence
* Clean Driver's Abstract and Criminal Clearance
* Work as part of a team
* Be able to stand, bend or crouch for long periods of time
* Time management
* Active listening
* Able to follow directions
* Punctual
* Reliable
