Understanding the flow of goods within a logistics hub and contributing to its smooth operation is part of your daily routine. Attention to detail in picking the correct items and packing them securely to prevent damage during transit is paramount. Responsibilities:
- Accurately pick items from warehouse shelves according to order specifications.
- Inspect items for damage before packing.
- Carefully pack items into appropriate shipping containers, ensuring protection.
- Label packages accurately for shipment.
- Maintain a clean and organized work station.
- Adhere to all safety regulations and guidelines.
- Utilize PPE as required for the tasks.
- Contribute to inventory accuracy through diligent picking and packing.
- Assist with other warehouse duties as needed.
- Manage lifting and carrying of packages.
Qualifications:
- Previous experience in a warehouse or order fulfillment role is a plus.
- Ability to read and understand pick lists and order information.
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
- Physical stamina for standing, walking, and lifting.
- Comfortable with lifting up to 30-40 lbs.
- Understanding of logistics and shipping processes.
- Commitment to workplace safety and proper PPE usage.
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
- Team player with good communication skills.
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
