Your role will involve loading and unloading trucks, transporting materials, and assisting with inventory management. The ideal candidate will have a solid understanding of warehouse operations, excellent maneuvering skills, and a strong commitment to Safety . - Operate forklifts safely and efficiently to move, stack, load, and unload materials and products.
- Conduct thorough pre-shift inspections of forklifts and report any defects or concerns promptly.
- Assist with receiving and shipping operations, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
- Support inventory control activities, including put-away and retrieval of stock.
- Maintain a clean, orderly, and safe working environment in accordance with company standards.
- Comply with all Safety regulations and procedures, including the required use of PPE .
- Collaborate with warehouse staff and supervisors to optimize workflow and meet productivity goals.
- Understand and apply best practices in warehouse Logistics .
- Operate other material handling equipment as needed.
- Perform tasks that may require incidental Lifting of items weighing up to 50 pounds.
