Join our vibrant fulfillment center in Orlando, Florida, as a Fulfillment Associate. This role is integral to our e-commerce operations, focusing on accurately preparing and shipping orders to our valued customers. You will be responsible for a range of tasks, from receiving incoming inventory to efficiently picking, packing, and dispatching outgoing shipments. Your dedication to accuracy and speed will be key to our success. This is a physically demanding position that requires a commitment to safety and efficiency in a dynamic logistics environment. You will play a vital role in ensuring our customers receive their orders on time and in perfect condition.
Responsibilities:
- Receive and inspect incoming inventory, ensuring accuracy against documentation.
- Sort and stock merchandise in designated areas of the fulfillment center.
- Accurately pick customer orders using RF scanners or pick sheets.
- Package items securely and efficiently for shipment, ensuring product protection.
- Prepare shipping labels and documentation for outgoing orders.
- Operate material handling equipment as required (e.g., pallet jacks).
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment, adhering to all safety protocols.
- Wear required PPE at all times, particularly in designated areas.
- Participate in inventory cycle counts and audits.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Previous experience in a fulfillment center, warehouse, or logistics role is preferred.
- Ability to stand and walk for prolonged periods, and lift up to 40 pounds repeatedly.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to accuracy.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced team environment.
- Knowledge of safety procedures and the importance of PPE is essential.
- Understanding of warehouse operations and order fulfillment processes.
