We are seeking a compassionate and skilled Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to join our healthcare team. The ideal candidate will provide high-quality nursing care to patients, ensuring their comfort and well-being. As an LPN, you will work closely with registered nurses and other healthcare professionals to deliver patient-centered care in a variety of settings, including medical-surgical units, ophthalmology clinics, and occupational health environments.
*Duties*
* Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians.
* Perform routine patient assessments and monitor vital signs.
* Assist with medical procedures, including suturing and ventilating patients as necessary.
* Provide care for patients with developmental disabilities, ensuring their specific needs are met.
* Maintain accurate medical documentation using electronic health record systems such as eClinicalWorks and Epic.
* Educate patients and their families on health management and wellness strategies.
* Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop individualized care plans.
* Ensure compliance with safety protocols and infection control measures.
*Requirements*
* Valid Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) license in the state of practice.
* Experience in medical-surgical nursing or related fields is preferred.
* Familiarity with electronic health record systems, particularly eClinicalWorks and Epic.
* Knowledge of ophthalmology practices is a plus.
* Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively within a team environment.
* Ability to perform essential nursing tasks such as inhaling therapies and monitoring patient responses.
* Commitment to providing compassionate care to all patients, including those with developmental disabilities.
