*JOB SUMMARY: *
We are seeking a skilled Sonographer to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for performing diagnostic evaluations using sonography and other imaging techniques.
*DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIES: *
* Identifies patient service requirements by establishing personal rapport with potential patients, actual patients, and others in a position to understand service requirements.
* Gains patients’ cooperation by reducing anxieties.
* Thoroughly reviews patient/physician notes prior to exam to ensure correct imaging techniques are used.
* Explain exam and answer questions.
* Prepares patient for the ultrasound procedure.
* Performs 2D, 3D, M-mode, Doppler, Contrast and Strain echocardiograms. Maintains production and high-quality studies by following the established standards, protocols, and procedures. Gives opinions and/or explanations of data and/or images at physicians’ request.
* Maintains ultrasound supply inventory.
* Maintains professional and technical knowledge by attending educational workshops, reviewing professional publications, establishing personal networks, and participating in professional societies.
* Maintain a safe and clean working environment.
* Documents patient care services by organizing all data obtained for physician interpretation.
* Creates echo report including summary in Epic structured report.
* PACs is Agfa/Tomtech
* Relays patient preliminary results to reading cardiologist as needed.
* Adheres to all guidelines of SDC (South Denver Cardiology) and IAC (Intersocietal Accreditation Commision).
* Provides proper emergency care, as needed.
* Contributes to team effort.
* Maintain required registry status.
* Completes monthly and annual competency, as required.
*QUALIFICATIONS: *
* Certified Adult Cardiac Sonographer by the American Registry of Diagnostic Medical Sonographers (RDCS) or Registered Cardiac Sonographer (RCS) by Cardiovascular Credentialling International.
* Extensive training in cardiac ultrasound
*EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE: *
* High School Diploma or equivalent preferred
* Epic experience preferred
* Medical office experience preferred
* Basic CPR
* Vascular US is a plus but not necessary
*PHYSICAL EFFORT: *
* Ability to support adult patient in emergencies as needed
*Anticipated end date:* 12/13/2025

Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $46.00 - $56.00 per hour
