Our Client which is a large Investment Bank is urgently looking to hire a Sr. Java Developer with GraphQL expertise.

Sr. Java Developer with GraphQL

Location - Toronto, ON

4 days onsite every week.

Interview Procedure - Face to Face is required for Final Round of Interview.

Core Java and Frameworks: Strong foundation in Java programming and experience with relevant frameworks, primarily Spring Boot.

GraphQL Libraries: Hands-on experience with key Java GraphQL libraries:

API Concepts: A deep understanding of API architectural styles (REST, SOAP) and the ability to determine the right tool for the job.

Schema Design: Proficiency in defining the GraphQL schema using Schema Definition Language (SDL), which is central to a strongly typed API.

Data Fetching : The ability to implement DataFetcher logic (resolvers) to connect GraphQL queries to various data sources like databases (PostgreSQL, Oracle) or other microservices.

Ecosystem Tools: Familiarity with tools for testing, security, caching, and observability within the GraphQL ecosystem.

Cloud & DevOps: Experience with cloud platforms (e.g., AWS ECS/Fargate) may be required for deployment and scaling.
