Role and Objectives:

The Project Manager, Strategic Services is a key driver of Kalesnikoff’s enterprise-wide innovation and transformation. This role leads the delivery of cutting-edge technology initiatives, process optimizations, and systems advancements that directly support our rapid growth across Mass Timber, Sawmill, and Modular operations. By managing a diverse portfolio of projects, the Project Manager ensures our teams have the tools, systems, and insights needed to operate efficiently today while preparing for the next generation of digital and operational excellence.


Working at the intersection of business strategy and technical execution, this role works with cross-functional teams, builds alignment among leaders, and champions best-in-class project delivery practices. The Project Manager plays a pivotal role in shaping how new systems are adopted, how change is sustained, and how innovation becomes a core driver of our success. This is a highly influential role designed for someone excited to lead complex initiatives, elevate organizational capabilities, and help move Kalesnikoff into its next chapter of technological advancement.



Key Responsibilities:

Project Leadership & Execution

  • Lead end-to-end project management for systems and application initiatives, from planning through delivery
  • Define project scope, goals, deliverables, timelines, resource requirements and stakeholder groups
  • Manage risks, issues, and dependencies to ensure successful outcomes
  • Embed change management strategies into project delivery to ensure stakeholder readiness, adoption, and sustained business outcomes


Portfolio Oversight

  • Maintain visibility across the project portfolio to ensure alignment with strategic business objectives
  • Prioritize initiatives based on value, impact, and resource availability
  • Provide regular portfolio updates to senior leadership and stakeholders


Cross-Functional Engagement

  • Facilitate collaboration among leaders from various departments including but not limited to IT, Finance, Operations, and People & Culture
  • Build consensus and drive decision-making across diverse stakeholder groups
  • Serve as a liaison between technical teams and business units to ensure shared understanding and alignment


Governance & Reporting

  • Establish and maintain project governance frameworks, including steering committees and stakeholder reviews
  • Track and report on project performance metrics, budgets, and milestones
  • Ensure compliance with internal standards, policies, and regulatory requirements


Continuous Improvement

  • Identify opportunities to improve project delivery processes and tools
  • Champion agile and hybrid methodologies where appropriate
  • Foster a culture of accountability, transparency, and innovation



Requirements:

Education

  • Bachelor’s degree in business, Information Systems, or related field
  • CAMP or PMP
  • Certificate in Change Management (PROSCI, CCMP) considered an asset


Experience

  • 5+ years of experience in project management, with a focus on systems and applications
  • Proven experience managing cross-functional projects and portfolios
  • Experience in leading teams is an asset


Knowledge

  • Strong understanding of enterprise systems (e.g., ERP, CRM, HRIS)
  • Excellent communication, facilitation, and stakeholder management skills
  • Proficiency in project management tools and software to plan, track, and report on initiatives


Compensation Package:

  • Salary: $105,000.00 - $120,000.00 (Dependent on experience)
