Read This First (Deal-Breakers)
This role isn't for everyone. Keep reading only if this excites you:
- You'll be our exercise-rehab champion in a team of Chiropractors, bridging the gap in active care. (We've had physiotherapists before, but learned that true integration beats siloed practice. Now we're excited for a chiropractor to lead this rehab charge.) Myself, the owner, is a Chiro with a Masters in Sport & Exercise Science, so I am well versed in this world, and am excited to bring someone into it who wants to dive 2-feet in with us
- You thrive in interdisciplinary care (DCs, RMTs, Acupuncture, admin) — no "profession-first" egos or silos.
- You prefer 20–30 minute sessions with patients working on exercise & movement, not 10-minute quick-fix adjustments- we have our Chiro team already executing that at a high-level, but they want someone to hand off the exercise-rehab to
- You have strong manual adjusting skills and value a great adjustment – but you see passive care as just one tool in the toolbox (exercise is where lasting change happens).
- You value measurable results and love using objective data (motion capture screens, strength tests, etc.) to drive care and show progress.
- You're a confident communicator and educator, turning clinical jargon into simple action plans that empower patients.
- You commit to 30+ hrs/week, with a consistent schedule (including some evenings/weekends) – reliability is your jam.
Why MYo Lab?
- Modern 5,300 sq ft facility with private treatment rooms and a full rehab gym (no dingy cubicles or token equipment – we've got squat racks, turf, and real weights). Plus, plenty of natural light so you won't be living like a bat
- Deliberate, unhurried care: 90 min initial assessments and 20–30 min follow-ups focused on active treatment. (No conveyor-belt "crack and go" visits here – we give you time to actually rehab patients.). In fact, the BEST person here will thrive in Phase 2 & 3 of care, providing the exercise rehab guidance after seeing one of our Chiros for their regualr adjustments, so you can focus on what you are most passionate about and great at doing
- Real collaboration: weekly team huddles, hands-on skill sessions, and cross-discipline case reviews – you'll never practice in a silo here.
- Tools that work: Kinotek 3D motion capture system, Shockwave, Class 3b Cold Laser, heat/cryo therapy, digital inclinometer & dynamometer, force plates – if it helps outcomes, we have it or are open to bringing it on.
- Full admin & marketing support so you focus on patient outcomes, not paperwork or hunting for referrals.
- Proven demand: established clinic with over $1.8M annual revenue (and growing) – a steady flow of motivated patients ready for care.
- Rehab-Forward Chiropractic Model: Work with leadership to integrate robust exercise rehab into our care workflows – think tailored exercise progressions, objective outcome tracking (yes, you'll get to play with Kinotek), and data-driven care plans.
- Interdisciplinary Protocols: Develop shared treatment "playbooks" across our chiros, RMTs, and other team members to ensure every member gets a coordinated, high-quality rehab experience (consistency + teamwork = better results).
- Culture: Help shape a culture where everyone – even admin and support staff – contributes to clinical excellence and accountability. By leading from the front with your rehab-first approach, you'll elevate the entire team's game.
- Clinical: Objective movement assessments done for every new patient; clear exercise progressions in place for all active care cases.
- Outcomes: Baseline functional metrics recorded on Day 1/2 for all patients, with measurable improvement documented by Week 6 (range of motion, strength, Kinotek scores, etc.).
- Experience: You run on time and your documentation is always completed promptly. No patient wondering where you are, no charts left undone.
- Team: Lead at least one cross-disciplinary skill-sharing session each week and actively participate in all case reviews and team huddles.
- Growth: Build a stable schedule (≥25 booked hours/week by Day 90) with excellent patient retention and rave patient feedback on their progress.
- Strategic, competitive, and growth-minded.
- Community outreach & referral development come naturally to you.
- You love designing systems for scalable rehab programs and patient funnels.
- You take ownership of expansion milestones as demand scales.
- Relationship-driven, outcomes-focused, and steady.
- Deep in patient education & ensuring exercise adherence.
- Long-term patient retention through genuine results and trust.
- Constantly contributes to team learning and refining protocols.
Compensation & Structure:
- Independent Contractor: 48% (if we both made a bad decision and you end up a poor performer) up to 60% (if you're the high-performer we expect – an asset to the team and mentor-in-training) fee-split. In short: perform well, get rewarded.
- Incentives: Performance bonuses available from day one, plus a retention bonus every year after 2 years.
- Schedule: Flexible scheduling (we hire for 30+ hours/week). We're open Sun–Fri, with morning start as early as ~8am and evening shifts to ~8pm – no need to juggle multiple clinics to fill your week.
- Work-life balance: One location, strong marketing and client demand – say goodbye to piecing together your income across multiple sites.
Growth & Mentorship:
- Multi-specialty mentorship: Access to colleagues certified in McKenzie Method, DNS, Graston, SFMA/FMS, Traditional Acupuncture, Strength & Conditioning, Pediatric/Perinatal care, Concussion management, and more. There's always someone to learn from (or teach).
- Weekly development: Hands-on skill labs, journal club/research rounds, and direct coaching from our clinic owner (yes, you'll get 1:1 time to level up). We invest in constant improvement.
- A high-volume assembly line: We prioritize outcomes over churn-and-burn volume.
- Profession hierarchy: No egos, no "Chiro vs Physio" turf wars. (We're a genuine team, and everyone's expertise is valued equally.)
- Passive-care paradise: If you just want to hook patients up to machines, give them a flyer of exercises, and call it a day, look elsewhere.
- Tip-Toe: If you're hoping to get your foot in the door at a clinic and "enjoy" exercise rehab, but also want to be running full adjustment sessions on each patient, and not helping the team through internal referrals where you become the go to person for exercise and you refer to your other Chiros on the team for full body or tricky adjustment cases, look elsewhere.
Our A-Player Non-Negotiables:
- Initiative, positivity, and a learner's mindset. You seek solutions, not just problems, and soak up new knowledge to improve your craft.
- Punctual & prepared. You show up ≥15 minutes early, ready to serve, every single day.
- Systematic consistency. You implement proven clinic systems and protocols reliably – no lone wolf antics at the expense of consistency.
- Data-driven & motivating. You love tracking outcomes and use data to inspire patients and teammates. Your energy is contagious in the clinic.
- Resume – highlight your key achievements and any metrics/results you've driven.
- Cover Letter – tell us how you exemplify the A-Player traits above (with examples).
- Your Approach – mention whether you lean more Business Builder or Care-Giver (or both), and why.
- Application Form – and lastly, complete our online application form MYo Lab Exercise Rehab Chiropractor Position - Initial Screening Questionnaire – Fill out form (20–30 minutes) at MYo Lab Hiring Form so we can get to know you better.
- Why do you believe you'd be a great fit as our rehab-focused chiropractor, ready to light the clinical world on fire?
- What is one thing you've learned from a non-chiropractic clinician (e.g. a physiotherapist, trainer, etc.) that changed your practice for the better?
- In your first 90 days, what key metrics would you track to prove your approach is working? (And why those metrics?)
- Application & Screening: Submit the application form (MYo Lab Exercise Rehab Chiropractor Position - Initial Screening Questionnaire – Fill out form). We'll review your responses and contact references (we speak with 2–3 of your recent supervisors/mentors).
- Initial Interview (Virtual): A video call with our Office Manager to get to know you beyond the paper.
- Skills & Personality Assessment: Short online assessments to understand your strengths and clinical style.
- Team Interview (In-Person): Meet with our management team and future colleagues at the clinic – let's see the chemistry.
- Offer: If it's a match, we'll extend an offer and welcome you aboard
