This critical role ensures accuracy in stock levels, minimizes discrepancies, and optimizes inventory management processes. You will be responsible for conducting regular cycle counts, investigating and resolving inventory variances, and implementing strategies to improve inventory accuracy. The ideal candidate will have a strong analytical mindset, proficiency with inventory management software, and a deep understanding of logistics principles. Key duties include tracking stock movements, reconciling inventory data, and generating reports on inventory status. This position requires meticulous attention to detail and a commitment to maintaining an organized and efficient warehouse environment. You will also be involved in receiving and put-away processes, ensuring items are correctly identified and stored. Safety is a top priority; you must be knowledgeable about warehouse safety practices and consistently use appropriate PPE. The role may involve some lifting of goods.
