We are seeking a proactive and organized Warehouse Coordinator to manage our operations in Jacksonville, Florida. In this role, you will be responsible for the smooth functioning of the warehouse, coordinating all aspects of inventory management, order fulfillment, and shipment processing. The Warehouse Coordinator will work closely with the warehouse team to ensure efficiency, accuracy, and adherence to safety standards. This position requires a strong understanding of logistics, excellent communication skills, and the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously. You will be instrumental in optimizing warehouse processes, ensuring that all activities comply with company policies and safety regulations, including the correct use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE). The ideal candidate will have a keen eye for detail, a problem-solving mindset, and the ability to lead by example. This role involves managing inventory flow, coordinating with carriers, and ensuring that all orders are processed accurately and efficiently. Occasional lifting of materials may be required. Responsibilities:
- Oversee daily warehouse operations, including receiving, inventory, picking, packing, and shipping.
- Coordinate the flow of goods and materials within the warehouse.
- Manage inventory levels and ensure accuracy of stock records.
- Schedule and track shipments, ensuring timely delivery.
- Communicate with carriers, suppliers, and internal departments.
- Ensure compliance with all safety regulations and company policies, including proper use of PPE.
- Train and guide warehouse staff as needed.
- Implement and improve warehouse processes for greater efficiency.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.
- Respond to and resolve operational challenges.
- Perform occasional lifting and moving of inventory items.
- High school diploma or equivalent; some college or a degree in a related field is a plus.
- Proven experience in warehouse coordination, logistics, or a similar role.
- Strong understanding of warehouse management systems (WMS) and inventory control.
- Excellent organizational, communication, and leadership skills.
- Familiarity with shipping and receiving procedures.
- Knowledge of logistics and supply chain best practices.
- Commitment to safety and experience with PPE.
- Ability to solve problems effectively and make sound decisions.
- Ability to perform occasional lifting of up to 50 pounds.
