We are expanding our product and engineering organisation and are looking for a hands-on *Product Owner / Business Analyst* to turn high-level product vision into clear requirements, user journeys, and deliverable features.
This is a fantastic role for someone who loves structure, detail, and cross-functional collaboration, and wants to directly impact the digital transformation of UK pharmacy.
*The Role*
This is a hybrid *PO/BA role* where you will work closely with the CEO, Operations Lead, UI/UX Designer, and Engineering Team Leads to shape features end-to-end.
You will:
* Take high-level product ideas and break them down into clear workflows and requirements
* Work with our UI/UX designer to transform requirements into intuitive user journeys
* Create epics, user stories, and acceptance criteria
* Support the engineering leads in understanding scope and timelines
* Coordinate delivery, track progress, and ensure features meet quality expectations
* Act as the bridge between Operations and Engineering to ensure alignment
* Bring structure and clarity to our fast-moving product organisation
This role is ideal for someone with strong analytical thinking, great communication, and a passion for turning ideas into well-defined features.
*Key ResponsibilitiesProduct Discovery & Requirements*
* Translate product vision into detailed requirements
* Map workflows and identify edge cases
* Conduct requirement sessions with stakeholders
* Document features in clear, structured formats
*Design Collaboration*
* Work directly with the UI/UX Designer
* Define user journeys and ensure designs match requirements
* Validate UI/UX flows for simplicity and usability
*Backlog & Delivery Management*
* Write epics, stories, and acceptance criteria
* Prioritise work in collaboration with Operations
* Prepare sprint-ready tickets for engineering leads
* Support estimation and release planning
*Cross-Team Communication*
* Act as the central point between Operations and Engineering
* Communicate scope, timelines, and changes clearly
* Track delivery progress and surface risks early
*Quality & Testing Support*
* Review completed features against requirements
* Ensure edge cases and acceptance criteria are met
* Support UAT and release readiness
*What We’re Looking ForEssential*
* 2+ years as a Product Owner, Business Analyst, or hybrid role
* Strong understanding of software development workflows
* Excellent written and verbal communication
* Ability to translate complex ideas into structured documentation
* Experience working with UI/UX teams
* Comfortable creating user stories, acceptance criteria, and process flows
* Highly organised with strong attention to detail
*Desirable*
* Experience in healthcare, pharmacy, or regulated industries
* Familiarity with agile project delivery
* Understanding of APIs, data flows, or technical concepts
* Experience with tools like Figma, ClickUp, Jira or Notion
