You'll be the internal HCM/WFM configuration expert, translating evolving business needs into scalable, welldocumented configuration across scheduling, time & attendance, timeoff, and other workflows. You will improve visibility to labour management, simplify manager workflows, and strengthen data quality and compliance of our current state.

Key Responsibilities

  • Configure and maintain scheduling, timekeeping, timeoff/accruals, and pay rules/premiums to support operational needs and compliance.
  • Design and optimize workflows/forms and approval routing (e.g., status changes, requests), with appropriate audit trails.
  • Define and manage roles/permissions and security profiles to ensure consistent access for managers and staff.
  • Establish and maintain master data standards (jobs, positions, skills, locations) to enable accurate rules and reporting.
  • Create and iterate on operational dashboards (e.g., schedule variance, exception/readiness, labor metrics) using available reporting tools.
  • Coordinate data flows/integrations (imports/exports/APIs) with HRIS/Payroll/Practice systems; ensure reliable scheduling and time data.
  • Document configuration decisions, change logs, and release notes; avoid clinic disruption through sensible change windows.
  • Run a configuration intake and prioritization process (e.g., RICE/impact scoring), with weekly/biweekly cadence and clear SLAs.
  • Lead testing and validation (use cases, edge cases, regression), and partner with Payroll/HR/IT on crossfunctional changes.
  • Produce quick reference guides and taskbased training for managers; support adoption and reduce tickets.
  • Provide Tier2 support for WFM configuration issues; track trends and propose preventive fixes.

Qualifications
Musthave

  • 3–5+ years Dayforce or comparable HCM/WFM configuration experience (UKG/Kronos/Workday).

  • Understanding of compliance concepts (e.g., breaks/stat holidays, overtime rules) and auditability.
  • Strong analytical and documentation skills; comfort with Excel and common reporting tools.
  • Clear stakeholder communication across Operations, HR, and Payroll.

Nicetohave

  • Dayforce certifications or formal module training (WFM/Payroll).
