Our company is looking for a meticulous and detail-oriented Inventory Control Specialist to manage and maintain accurate inventory records at our Indianapolis, Indiana facility. This role is crucial for ensuring the integrity of our stock and supporting efficient logistics operations. You will be responsible for conducting regular cycle counts, investigating discrepancies, and implementing corrective actions to maintain high levels of inventory accuracy. This position requires a strong understanding of inventory management principles and the ability to work with warehouse management systems (WMS). You will play a key role in optimizing inventory levels, minimizing stockouts, and reducing excess inventory. Responsibilities include analyzing inventory data, identifying trends, and reporting findings to management. You will also be involved in receiving and put-away processes to ensure items are correctly identified and stored. A commitment to Safety is paramount, and you will ensure all inventory-related activities comply with safety standards. The physical demands include some Lifting of inventory items, so a level of physical fitness is required. You will work closely with the warehouse team to ensure proper handling and storage of goods. This role demands excellent analytical skills, problem-solving abilities, and a proactive approach to inventory management. You must be proficient in using scanning equipment and be comfortable working in a fast-paced warehouse environment. Ensuring that all team members adhere to PPE requirements is part of maintaining a safe workplace. Responsibilities:
- Perform regular cycle counts and physical inventories
- Investigate and resolve inventory discrepancies
- Maintain accurate inventory records in the WMS
- Analyze inventory data and report on stock levels

- Monitor stock rotation and identify slow-moving items
- Ensure adherence to Safety protocols during all inventory operations
