Join our dynamic logistics team as a Material Handler in Madison, Wisconsin! We are seeking individuals with a strong work ethic and a commitment to safety to manage the flow of materials within our distribution center. This role is critical to our operations, ensuring that products are moved efficiently and accurately from receiving to shipping. Your primary responsibilities will include operating material handling equipment, loading and unloading trucks, stocking inventory, and maintaining an organized workspace. A thorough understanding of warehouse safety procedures and the consistent use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) are mandatory. This position involves significant physical activity, including frequent Lifting of items up to 50 lbs. You will be an integral part of a team dedicated to achieving operational targets and upholding the highest standards in logistics. Key responsibilities:
- Loading and unloading materials from various transport vehicles.
- Operating forklifts, pallet jacks, and other warehouse equipment safely and efficiently.
- Moving and organizing materials to and from storage areas.
- Assisting with inventory placement and stock rotation.
- Performing routine inspections and maintenance of equipment.
- Ensuring a clean, hazard-free work environment.
- Adhering strictly to all safety regulations and company policies.
- Collaborating with team members to meet daily operational goals.
- Supporting other warehouse functions as needed to ensure smooth logistics.
