Bartender/Server

Overview
We are seeking an enthusiastic and personable Bartender to join our vibrant team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for hospitality, excellent customer service skills, and the ability to create a welcoming atmosphere for guests. This role involves preparing and serving beverages, engaging with patrons, and ensuring a memorable experience in a fast-paced environment. Prior experience in food and beverage service is preferred, along with familiarity with POS systems such as Micros POS. Responsibilities

• Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages accurately and efficiently
• Engage with guests in a friendly and professional manner, providing exceptional customer service
• Use POS systems like Micros POS to process orders, handle cash transactions, and manage tabs
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar area in compliance with food safety standards
• Ensure responsible alcohol service by monitoring guest behavior and adhering to legal drinking age regulations
• Restock bar supplies as needed and assist in inventory management
• Follow food handling procedures to ensure safety and quality standards are met
• Collaborate with team members to deliver seamless service during busy hours
• Manage time effectively to serve multiple guests promptly while maintaining quality

Experience

• Previous experience in restaurant or food service environments is highly desirable
• Familiarity with POS systems, especially Micros POS, is a plus
• Strong customer service skills with the ability to engage guests professionally
• Knowledge of food safety standards and proper food handling techniques
• Basic math skills for cash handling, making change, and managing tabs
• Experience in serving or bartending within the food industry is preferred but not required
• Excellent time management skills to handle high-volume periods efficiently
