Job Summary:
Join our dynamic team as a Material Handler in Seattle, Washington! This position is integral to our warehouse operations, ensuring the efficient movement and storage of materials. You will be responsible for operating forklifts and other material handling equipment to load, unload, transport, and store materials within the facility. Accuracy, efficiency, and a strong commitment to safety are paramount in this role. We are looking for individuals who are reliable, possess good communication skills, and can work effectively in a team-oriented logistics environment.   • Operate forklifts, pallet jacks, and other material handling equipment safely and efficiently.
  • Load and unload materials from trucks and into storage areas.
  • Transport materials to and from various locations within the warehouse.
  • Stack and organize materials to optimize space and ensure accessibility.
  • Perform regular equipment checks and report any maintenance needs.
  • Assist with inventory management and cycle counts.
  • Follow all safety guidelines and procedures to prevent accidents.
  • Contribute to maintaining a clean and orderly work environment.
Requirements:
  • Valid forklift certification is highly preferred.
  • Proven experience operating various types of material handling equipment.
  • Ability to perform regular lifting, up to 50 pounds.
  • Must be able to stand, walk, and operate machinery for extended periods.
  • Familiarity with warehouse logistics and safety protocols.
  • Must wear appropriate PPE, including steel-toed boots and high-visibility vests.
  • Strong focus on safety and adherence to all regulations.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
