We are seeking a certified Forklift Operator to join our logistics team in Kansas City, Missouri. In this role, you will be responsible for the safe and efficient operation of forklifts to move, locate, relocate, stack, and count merchandise. This position is critical for maintaining the flow of goods within our warehouse and ensuring timely order fulfillment. You will be handling materials of varying sizes and weights, requiring precision and adherence to strict safety protocols. A valid forklift operator certification is required. You must be knowledgeable about forklift maintenance and inspection procedures. Proper use of PPE is mandatory at all times while operating machinery and working in the warehouse environment. - Operating forklifts to move, stack, and retrieve materials.
- Loading and unloading trucks and trailers.
- Ensuring accurate placement of inventory within the warehouse.
- Performing daily forklift inspections and basic maintenance.
- Adhering to all warehouse safety regulations and procedures.
- Proper use and maintenance of required PPE.
- Assisting with inventory counts and stocktaking.
- Maintaining a clean and organized work environment.
- Experience with various types of forklifts is a plus.
- Must be able to assist with manual Lifting when necessary.
