We are seeking a meticulous and organized Shipping Clerk to join our team in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. In this role, you will play a vital part in our **Logistics** chain, ensuring that all outgoing shipments are processed accurately, efficiently, and in compliance with company standards. Your responsibilities will include preparing shipping documentation, coordinating with carriers, and maintaining organized shipping areas. A strong focus on detail and adherence to **Safety** procedures are crucial.
Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare and verify shipping documents, including bills of lading and packing lists.
- Coordinate with freight carriers for pickup and delivery schedules.
- Track shipments and communicate any delays or issues to relevant parties.
- Ensure all packages are correctly labeled and packaged for shipment.
- Maintain organized and clean shipping and receiving areas.
- Conduct regular **Safety** inspections of the shipping dock.
- Adhere strictly to all **PPE** requirements.
- Assist with **Lifting** and moving of packages as needed.
The ideal candidate will have experience in shipping, logistics, or administrative support within a warehouse environment. Excellent organizational and communication skills are essential. Familiarity with shipping software and carrier platforms is a plus. A commitment to **Safety** and efficiency in all tasks is paramount. Qualifications:
