The ideal candidate will be responsible for operating a reach truck to move, locate, relocate, stack, and count merchandise in a warehouse environment. Your primary focus will be on safe and efficient operation of the reach truck, adhering strictly to all safety protocols and company policies. This position requires a keen eye for detail and the ability to work independently as well as part of a team. The role involves significant physical activity, including regular lifting of up to 50 lbs, and requires the ability to work in various warehouse conditions. Responsibilities:
- Operate a reach truck to move, load, and unload pallets of goods.
- Safely navigate warehouse aisles and storage racks.
- Pick and place inventory accurately within designated areas.
- Conduct pre-operation checks on equipment to ensure safety and functionality.
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment.
- Assist with inventory counts and cycle counts as needed.
- Follow all safety regulations and company guidelines.
- Report any equipment malfunctions or safety concerns immediately.
- Communicate effectively with supervisors and team members.
- Participate in training sessions to enhance skills and knowledge.
