We are hiring a skilled Material Handler to join our team in Fort Worth, Texas! Responsibilities:
- Receive, inspect, and log incoming materials and supplies.
- Organize and store inventory in designated warehouse locations.
- Operate material handling equipment, such as forklifts and pallet jacks, safely and efficiently.
- Pick and pack orders based on work orders or customer requests.
- Load and unload trucks, ensuring secure transport of goods.
- Perform regular inventory cycle counts and assist with physical inventories.
- Maintain cleanliness and orderliness of the warehouse, adhering to all safety protocols.
- Prepare materials for outgoing shipments, including proper labeling and packaging.
- Report any damages or discrepancies to supervisors promptly.
- Ability to handle frequent Lifting requirements, with an emphasis on safe lifting techniques, up to 50 lbs.
- Previous experience as a Material Handler or in a similar warehouse role is advantageous.
- Experience operating forklifts and other warehouse machinery.
- Ability to follow instructions and work with minimal supervision.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to accuracy.
- Good physical stamina and the ability to perform manual labor.
- Understanding of warehouse Safety procedures and the importance of PPE.
- Excellent teamwork and communication skills.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
