You will be the final checkpoint before goods leave our facility, so precision and a strong sense of responsibility are key. Your duties will include preparing shipping documents, coordinating with carriers, labeling packages, and verifying order accuracy. A solid understanding of shipping procedures and logistics is beneficial. Safety is our top priority, and you will be required to adhere to all company safety policies, including the proper use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE). This role requires the ability to handle packages of varying weights and sizes, involving some lifting and moving. You will work closely with other warehouse staff to ensure a seamless workflow. - Prepare shipping labels and documentation accurately.
- Verify order contents against shipping manifests.
- Coordinate pickup schedules with various shipping carriers.
- Ensure all packages are properly packed and secured for transit.
- Operate shipping software and systems.
- Track shipments and resolve any delivery issues.
- Maintain a clean and organized shipping station.
- Communicate effectively with internal teams and external partners.
- Adhere to all safety regulations and use appropriate PPE.
- Assist with inventory management as needed.
