We are seeking a diligent Material Handler to join our busy logistics center in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma. This role is essential for ensuring the smooth movement of materials throughout the warehouse. You will be responsible for loading and unloading goods, operating material handling equipment, and organizing inventory to support efficient operations. Responsibilities:
- Load and unload materials from trucks and into warehouse storage.
- Operate forklifts, pallet jacks, and other material handling equipment safely and efficiently.
- Organize and stack materials in designated areas.
- Assist with inventory counts and checks.
- Ensure work areas are clean, organized, and safe.
- Follow all safety regulations and company policies, including proper use of PPE.
- Perform basic equipment maintenance and report any issues.
- Assist with other warehouse tasks as assigned, including occasional Lifting.
Qualifications:
- Previous experience as a Material Handler or in a similar warehouse role.
- Proficiency in operating various material handling equipment, potentially including forklift certification.
- Ability to perform physical tasks, including significant Lifting (up to 60 lbs).
- Strong understanding of warehouse safety procedures and the importance of PPE.
- Good organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced logistics environment.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
