Responsibilities:
- Sort, organize, and store received merchandise.
- Retrieve orders from shelves and prepare them for packing and shipping.
- Package items securely, ensuring they are ready for transit.
- Maintain an accurate count of inventory and assist with regular audits.
- Operate material handling equipment with proper training and adherence to safety rules.
- Ensure the warehouse is kept clean, tidy, and free of hazards, using appropriate PPE.
- Follow all company policies and procedures, especially concerning safety and Lifting.
- Support team efforts and contribute to a positive work atmosphere.
Qualifications:
- Experience in a warehouse or similar environment is advantageous.
- Capability to handle tasks requiring moderate to heavy Lifting (up to 50 lbs).
- Understanding of warehouse safety protocols and the importance of PPE.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple tasks.
- Basic computer skills for inventory tracking.
- Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
