You will work closely with various departments, including receiving, shipping, and operations, to ensure seamless inventory management. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of inventory control principles and practices, excellent analytical skills, and a commitment to upholding our high standards of safety and operational excellence. This position involves regular physical activity, including **lifting** and moving of goods, and adherence to all **PPE** requirements is mandatory. Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct regular cycle counts and physical inventories.
- Investigate and resolve inventory discrepancies.
- Maintain accurate inventory records in our WMS.
- Monitor stock levels and identify reorder needs.
- Implement and enforce inventory control procedures.
- Collaborate with warehouse staff to ensure proper storage and handling of goods.
- Assist in the development and implementation of inventory improvement initiatives.
- Ensure compliance with all safety regulations and company policies.
- Operate material handling equipment as needed, following all **safety** protocols.
- Proper use of **PPE** is required at all times.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Proven experience in inventory control or a related field.
- Strong knowledge of inventory management software (WMS).
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to perform physical tasks, including **lifting** up to 50 lbs.
- Familiarity with warehouse operations and **logistics**.
- Commitment to workplace **safety** and **PPE** usage.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills.
