We are seeking a dedicated and organized Receiving Clerk to join our dynamic logistics team in Virginia Beach, Virginia. The Receiving Clerk will be responsible for accurately processing incoming shipments, ensuring all merchandise is accounted for, and preparing items for storage or distribution. This role is critical to maintaining the integrity of our inventory and the smooth operation of our warehouse. You will work closely with vendors, transportation providers, and internal departments to resolve any discrepancies or issues related to incoming goods. A keen eye for detail and strong organizational skills are essential for success in this position. Adherence to all company policies and procedures, especially those concerning safety and security, is paramount. We emphasize the importance of using the correct PPE at all times. - Unload and receive incoming shipments accurately.
- Verify quantities and quality of received goods against purchase orders and invoices.
- Inspect shipments for damage and report any discrepancies or damages immediately.
