Are you an experienced Forklift Operator looking for a new challenge? Join our bustling warehouse operations in Sacramento, California! We are seeking skilled individuals to safely and efficiently move materials within our facility. As a Forklift Operator, you will be instrumental in managing inventory flow, loading and unloading trucks, and ensuring that materials are staged correctly for further processing or shipment. Your expertise is vital to our logistics operations, supporting a seamless workflow and maintaining high productivity. Safety is paramount in this role.
Responsibilities:
- Operate forklifts (e.g., sit-down, stand-up, reach trucks) to move, stack, and retrieve inventory.
- Load and unload materials from trucks and trailers.
- Inspect forklift equipment daily to ensure safe operation and report any issues.
- Organize and maintain inventory in designated areas.
- Assist with order picking and packing as needed.
- Follow all safety regulations and procedures, including proper use of PPE.
- Contribute to maintaining a clean and orderly warehouse environment.
Qualifications:
- Valid forklift operator certification and proven experience.
- Minimum of 1-2 years of forklift operation experience in a warehouse setting.
- Ability to perform tasks requiring physical exertion, including lifting up to 50 lbs.
- Strong understanding of warehouse safety procedures and protocols.
- Familiarity with logistics and material handling best practices.
- Proficiency in operating various types of forklifts.
- Reliable and committed to adhering to safety standards, including wearing required PPE.
