We are seeking an experienced Reach Truck Operator to join our state-of-the-art facility in Phoenix, Arizona. This role requires precision, efficiency, and a strong commitment to safety . As a Reach Truck Operator, you will be responsible for operating specialized equipment to move, locate, relocate, stack, and count merchandise. Your contribution is vital to the smooth functioning of our logistics operations and ensuring the integrity of our inventory.
Responsibilities:
- Safely operate a reach truck to move and stack pallets of goods within the warehouse.
- Transport materials to and from designated areas accurately and efficiently.
- Conduct pre-operation checks on the reach truck to ensure it is in safe working condition.
- Monitor inventory levels and assist with cycle counts as needed.
- Adhere strictly to all safety procedures and wear required PPE at all times.
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment, ensuring aisles and pathways are clear.
- Report any equipment malfunctions or safety concerns immediately.
- Follow loading and unloading procedures with care.
- Assist other warehouse staff with their tasks when required.
- Contribute to the overall productivity and efficiency of the distribution center.
Qualifications:
- Proven experience operating a reach truck is mandatory.
- Valid certification for operating reach trucks.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced warehouse environment.
- Physical ability to stand for extended periods and perform occasional lifting up to 30 lbs.
- Strong understanding of warehouse logistics and inventory control.
- Demonstrated commitment to workplace safety and adherence to PPE requirements.
- Excellent hand-eye coordination and spatial awareness.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
