Become a Material Handler in our Nashville, Tennessee facility! This essential role involves the movement, organization, and preparation of materials within our warehouse. You will be responsible for tasks such as loading and unloading shipments, operating material handling equipment, and ensuring materials are correctly staged for various logistics operations. Responsibilities:
- Load and unload materials from trucks and containers.
- Operate pallet jacks, hand trucks, and other material handling equipment.
- Sort, organize, and stage materials for production or shipment.
- Perform regular checks on equipment to ensure proper functioning and Safety.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area according to company standards.
- Assist with inventory management and cycle counts as needed.
- Adhere to all company Safety policies and procedures, including the use of appropriate Personal Protective Equipment (PPE).
- Report any damaged materials or safety hazards to supervisors promptly.
Requirements:
- Ability to perform regular Lifting of items up to 50 lbs.
- Physical stamina and the ability to stand, walk, and move for extended periods.
- Basic understanding of warehouse operations and logistics.
- Team player with good communication skills.
- Reliable and punctual with a strong commitment to completing tasks.
- Previous experience as a Material Handler or in a warehouse setting is a plus.
- Commitment to upholding the highest standards of workplace Safety.
