Join our growing team as a Fulfillment Associate in Washington, D.C.! We are looking for motivated individuals to contribute to the efficient processing of customer orders within our state-of-the-art warehouse. This role is critical to ensuring timely and accurate delivery of products to our valued customers. You will be involved in all aspects of order fulfillment, from picking and packing to preparing shipments. A dedication to accuracy, efficiency, and workplace safety is essential. Responsibilities:
- Accurately pick and retrieve products from warehouse inventory based on customer orders using RF scanners.
- Pack items securely and efficiently into appropriate shipping materials, ensuring product protection during transit.
- Conduct thorough quality checks to verify order accuracy before shipment.
- Apply shipping labels and necessary documentation to packages.
- Utilize warehouse equipment such as pallet jacks and hand trucks to move inventory.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe workspace according to company standards.
- Strictly adhere to all safety protocols and guidelines, including the proper use of PPE.
- Assist with inventory management tasks, including cycle counts and stock put-away.
- Collaborate effectively with colleagues to meet daily fulfillment targets and streamline operations.
- Contribute to a positive and efficient warehouse culture.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Prior experience in a warehouse, e-commerce fulfillment, or similar role is advantageous.
- Capability to perform physically demanding tasks, including prolonged standing and lifting up to 40 pounds.
- Exceptional attention to detail and a strong focus on accuracy.
- Proficiency with scanning devices and basic computer applications.
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
- Understanding of warehouse logistics and fulfillment processes.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a cohesive team.
- Demonstrated reliability and punctuality.
- Commitment to upholding safety standards in all tasks.
